Zaher P. Kury

Zaher P. Kury was born in a small village near Jerusalem. At the age of ten, he migrated with his family to California. Having a hard time in adjusting to life in America, he was defiant, rebellious, aggressive, and hostile.

While working in his father’s grocery store in a very dangerous section of Oakland, he began to take responsibility for his actions. It was then that this book began to evolve. Kury focused on positive behaviors to replace the negative ones that dominated his youth.

Suddenly, he became curious about life and death, goodness and evil, humans and their Creator. After an intense learning and meditation period, he began receiving answers from a source within him.  The author was transformed with each page that he wrote for this book.

From almost illiterate status, Kury rose to become an author who was involved in work with an international peace panel, a project about mind over matter for the Stanford Research Institute, and self-help groups for spiritual and mental healing. During the past thirteen years, he has worked with abused children and is currently a mental health specialist in Solano County in California.
